The Quality Assurance Coordinator assists the Director, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance with ongoing activities related to the development, implementation, maintenance of, and adherence to, the organization’s quality assurance policies and procedures in compliance with applicable federal and state laws and accreditation standards.
Under the guidance and direction of the Director, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance:
Conducts internal QA audits of WU charts and CT/ET electronic charts
Compiles statistical data and writes reports summarizing donor surveys responses
Maintains training binders for Donor Services staff
Updates SOP Library binders and files
Records temperatures for all controlled temperature storage areas daily
Updates Equipment list when needed
Files QA related documents and reports
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Working knowledge of all areas of the organization and the ability to develop a clear understanding of the organization’s key functional processes and resources
Knowledge, training and experience in QA principles and data management systems and electronic data capture
Evidence of understanding and monitoring of compliance with SOPs, and other local, state and federal regulations, as applicable
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other data management software
Good project management skills
Good analytical skills
Must work well under pressure
This position is basically sedentary with some walking, standing, stooping and lifting required. Occasional lifting of objects weighing in excess of 20 pounds. Travel may also be required.
