The City of Irvine seeks an experienced Senior Transportation Analyst. This position will perform advanced professional transportation planning engineering work with minimal supervision. The responsibilities includes preparation of grant applications; negotiation of agreements with private and public entities; and preparation of traffic studies to identify and implement circulation and infrastructure needs. This position also provides technical guidance and supervision to other professional and technical staff. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of funding programs and related financial processes and guidelines along with experience in the development and/or administration of development fee programs. In addition, this person will have strong experience managing the planning efforts of transportation projects. EEO/ADA

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Transportation Planning, Urban Planning or a related field, and five years of professional transportation planning experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities. A valid California Driver's license is required. Experience with funding programs, including experience collaborating with transportation agencies is preferred.
