The Santa Barbara County Association of Governments (SBCAG), Santa Barbara County’s Regional Transportation Planning Agency, is accepting applications for a planner position in our funding division (Programming Division).
This planner position will report to the Programming Division Manager and help advise the SBCAG board on how to allocate the region’s scarce transportation funding resources to projects sponsored by local agencies, Caltrans, transit agencies and SBCAG. The position will also help project sponsors successfully navigate state and federal funding programs to deliver projects in a timely manner. Projects include highways, local streets and roads, transit and bicycle and pedestrian improvements. The position will be filled at one of three levels: Planner I (Assistant), Planner II (Associate) or Senior level, dependent upon prior relevant experience.
