Overview / Responsibilities Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Level Permitting Specialist to join our Environmental Planning & Permitting Group in Chelmsford, MA or Providence, RI office. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10-15 years’ experience preparing environmental filings and supporting agency reviews for a variety of sectors including transportation, energy, Federal and industrial/commercial. The ideal candidate will be confident and adept at developing project strategy with client and Wood team. Starting with identifying potential permit triggers; working with the design team to minimize impact or eliminate permit triggers; then forging client advocacy positions with regulatory agencies; the ideal candidate develops a defensible, streamlined and efficient (time/money) strategy for client’s project.
