Principal Reliability & Quality Engineer
Principal Reliability & Quality Engineer supports process/continuous improvement across the PA Process Systems business to support customer satisfaction and quality. Provides analytical and reliability engineering support to ensure ongoing business success. Data analytics are used to highlight key opportunities for improvement, identify organizational process strengths/weaknesses, and respond to inquiries for data analytics such as Reliability Studies. Work closely to support the Sales force on sales pursuits. Works cross functionally to support data analytics within various business disciplines to drive fact/data driven decisions.
Supports strategy development and identify opportunity for continuous improvement across the PA Process Systems Business.
Implement continuous improvement using “Lean Six Sigma” and others methodologies
Work collaboratively with related functions to ensure all methods / processes deliver the expected benefit to customers and business bottom line.
Coordinate the implementation of agreed changes and monitor to ensure they are robust and sustainable.
Coach the teams to ensure that the organization is a highly motivated and competent and lives the quality and process improvement culture.
Engineering related degree or 4 years relevant experience in Quality Engineering / Quality Management
ASQ CRE certification
Certified 6 Sigma Black Belt, Certified MBB a plus
Minimum of 10 years of related experience
Reliability Engineering experience in a relevant high tech (hardware, software, and systems integration) environment
Multi-plant, multi-function, and multi country experience a plus
Possesses specialized knowledge and technical expertise in principles, practices, and implementation of the Continuous Improvement methodology
Has a broad understanding of business processes and familiarity with systems integration, manufacturing, marketing, sales and engineering functions in the industries we serve.
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Work, PowerPoint, Access) including Pivot Table capability in Excel and Database skills
Strong reliability modeling experience (Weibull, NHPP, Arrhenius etc) as well as reliability prediction techniques
