Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the School of Engineering at the University of Guam
The University of Guam invites applications for two tenure-track positions in the civil engineering disciplines of structural and hydrology/hydraulics. The positions will become available during the fall of 2018 (in anticipation of teaching classes starting in the spring semester of 2019) and will be filled at the assistant professor level. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in engineering, evidence of scholarly achievement, and a US professional engineering registration or capability of obtaining the Guam registration within a reasonable period of time. The successful candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate courses in civil engineering and related fields, develop courses in their area of interest, advise students, and develop an externally funded research program in his or her area of specialization.
