As an Electrical Engineering Manager, you will serve as the subject matter expert in electrical engineering, ultimately ensuring the company's ability to supply life-saving therapies.
You will report to the Director of Facilities and will work to:
Develop technical engineering standards, including the preparation of site electrical drawings and power supply documentation
Manage all aspects of assigned capital projects though budget, vendor negotiation, service contracts and critical spare parts inventory
Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance to diminish supply constraints of critical electrical equipment availability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects global projects, and contribute to best practice knowledge sharing
Ensure department compliance and regulatory requirements (cGMP, OSHA, FDA, State/ Local Fire standards and building codes, EPA, NEC, and UL)
Implement a system to monitor electrical KPI's, developing plan and objectives for large-scale projects with up to a 5-year planning horizon
You Are: To be successful in this role you will have experience in managing capital projects and an ability to simplify complex ideas. Prior experience in designing and implementing an instrumentation system to monitor electrical KPI's will be key.
B.S. in Electrical Engineering (excess experience may substitute for education)
Minimum 8 years related experience in Biotech, pharmaceutical or chemical industry (advanced degree may substitute for some experience)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
