The Watershed Hydrology Laboratory (WatHydroLab) has an opening to hire two PhD Opportunity: Climate Change and Watershed Hydrology. Research topic in using a combination of experimental, theoretical and numerical modeling across a wide range of temporal and spatial scales to study climate change and climate variability on coastal urban watersheds.at the University of Hawaii-Manoa Civil and Environmental Engineering Department. Requirements
MS in Civil Engineering or related field with: i) strong numerical modeling and/or computing capabilities, 2)Course background in programming languages, 3)Excellent writing skills;
The selected student will be part of a team working on the following research projects: i) Hydrological modeling at different scales to study the impact of climate changes and climate variability on flood forecasting in urban watershed; ii) Integration of In-situ and Remotely Sensed soil moisture sensing techniques;and iii) Urban hydrology.
