Amec Foster Wheeler Environment & Infrastructure is expanding and we are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Water Infrastructure groups in Ontario.
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of design and construction management projects related to water, wastewater and other services required for the public sector. Additionally the incumbent will be involved in identifying new business opportunities with existing clients in the public and private sectors.

The ideal candidate will have municipal and civil engineering experience in the consulting industry and/or experience working with, or for, public sector clients. Amec Foster Wheeler has extensive, long standing experience with provincial government and municipal government clients and you would be working with staff members that are well respected in the industry with in-depth knowledge of the municipal engineering sector. Amec Foster Wheeler also provides the opportunity to interact and work with many other technical experts from other regions, as required, to support our water infrastructure group.
Open to the following Ontario office locations: Burlington, Markham and Ottawa
Manage the planning and design work for civil and water infrastructure projects
Management of project budgets, schedules and staff
Supervision of technical staff
Oversee the preparation and review of construction contracts, drawings, specifications and tender documents
Manage contract administration and construction inspection staff
Preparation of proposal documents
Client liaison and relationship management
Identification and development of new business opportunities
Skills / Qualifications
B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or equivalent
15 years of relevant experience is preferred
Registered with or eligible to register with Professional Engineers Ontario
Experience with public sector water and wastewater clients
Proven project management experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to support and project values compatible with the organization
