The Trinity River Authority of Texas, a provider of wholesale water treatment services in Texas, seeks a highly motivated engineer to manage and coordinate engineering functions for its Tarrant County Water Supply System (TCWSP), located in Euless, Texas. Responsibilities include Process Control, Asset Management, Records Management, Maintenance and Information systems. The ideal candidate will have at least four years’ experience in a related field with two years’ of water treatment experience. This position must have thorough knowledge of the operation of water treatment. Knowledge of asset management preferred.
This candidate must be able to organize and direct coordination while managing multiple projects and deadlines. Be able to communicate tactfully and effectively with management, staff and outside agencies.

A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering or related engineering field is required with a professional engineer’s license in the state of Texas. Requires ability to obtain Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (or predecessor agency) Class B Water Operator’s Certificate of Competency within two years.
The Trinity River Authority of Texas is a conservation and reclamation district that provides water from reservoir facilities, water and wastewater treatment, along with recreation and reservoir facilities, within the nearly 18,000-square-mile Trinity River basin. TRA also maintains a master plan for basin-wide development, and serves as a conduit for tax-exempt financing for municipal projects and as a local sponsor for federal water projects.
