In line with the Regional Sales Vision and Strategy, set the path and organize the necessary approach to acquire/grow the account portfolio, build and strengthen commercial relationships in order to achieve the annual goals in terms of volume, sales price, cost to market, margin achieved at cheapest source of supply and market penetration within the assigned area/segment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Represent Magotteaux to customers and introduce new customers to Magotteaux
Propose a sales forecast for assigned territory of responsibility for discussion and approval with the Sales and Marketing Manager.
Initiate and/or maintain and improve customer contacts (multi-level at the plant and at corporate level of the customer organization)
Customer site visits for inspection of equipment and proposal / order creation and follow up
Liaison with product engineering, customer sales representatives and plants to ensure proper quote and order processing/manufacturing.
Assist Sales and Marketing Manager in the preparation of sales contracts/tenders.
Customer engagement and training.
Attend technical conferences, trades shows, sales seminars or any other meeting organized by the Business Development Manager.
Revise and update on a regular basis the action plans in CRM to reach sales objectives.
Establish quarterly report on business activities.
Any other function assigned by the department manager to grow the business
Cold calling prospective customer sites and corporate headquarters
Aggressively pursuing potential leads
Product performance follow-up.
Offering trials/tests at customer sites
Technical discussion with product support service team.
Maintaining company customer and equipment database (eQUIP).
Monitor and provide feedback on customers and customer group performances
Monitor and provide feedback on competition activity.
Closely working with Technical Marketing Managers to find out new products and solutions to solve customer issues.
Will be responsible to monitor business expenses within a given budget.
Respect and maintain field equipment (computer, profile gauges, etc.)

Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Metallurgical, Chemical) or Equivalent in years of experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales/marketing or technical field/mining related
Mineral Processing a plus
Willingness to travel approximately 30-50%
The performance of this position will regularly require exposure to the manufacturing areas that require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields, hard hats, steel toe shoes, flame resistant clothing and mandatory hearing protection.
