Part-time or full-time; designer (with Revit experience) and engineer needed for our growing team.
Create plans that detail plumbing systems such as water, waste, storm drainage, compressed air and lab gases
Create Division 22 project specifications
Coordinate plumbing work with Owner, Architect, and other members of SW project team
Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs
Design and draft plans that detail complete building systems
Prepare electronic drawings, plans, and models
Coordinate with and consult others to design, lay out, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.
Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or problems
Assist with the creation of specifications that detail complete building systems
Remain technically updated with Building Codes and use new knowledge in work
Assist with creation of opinions of probable construction costs
Assist with equipment review submittals
Travel to job sites to observe existing systems and conditions
Visually inspect existing systems and create/develop work plans based upon this information
Meet with owner or client to discuss existing conditions when directed
Designers should have 2 years of plumbing design experience and experience with Revit. Engineers should have a PE and may be eligible to work part time if desired.
Excellent communication skills are required. Must be able to manage the details of multiple projects at a time and meet project deadlines.
Works as part of a team while being individually responsible for design.
