Water Cluster Hire - Three Faculty Positions to Address Water Sustainability Challenges
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) and the Utah Water Research Laboratory at Utah State University (USU) invite applications for a cluster hire of three positions at the Assistant Tenure Track or Associate Professor levels in the broad topical areas of water resources engineering, environmental engineering, and/or hydraulic engineering. We seek candidates whose convergent research will generate data-driven, collaborative, sustainable, and holistic solutions to water quantity, quality, and management problems in the face of growing population, aging infrastructure, changing climate, and changing societal values.
Successful candidates must articulate a vision for and show how their research and teaching will: 1) yield data-driven, collaborative, sustainable, and holistic solutions; 2) build on existing strengths throughout USU in hydrology, hydraulics, hydroinformatics, water resources management, irrigation, water quality, and environmental engineering; and 3) improve CEE and USU capabilities to solve interdisciplinary water problems now and in the future. To promote transdisciplinary and convergent research, we encourage team applications from groups of up to three candidates, which may include dual career partners.
