The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) is looking for an executive to serve as the Senior Engineer Advisor for Railroad Technology (ST) for the Office of Railroad Safety. The incumbent of this position will advise FRA leadership on matters related to the development and implementation of railroad technology, including safety and security. The ideal candidate is a recognized expert in advanced communications systems, global navigation satellite systems and ground based positioning and timing systems, communications and cyber security and threat assessment processes and techniques.
