Post-doctoral Research Fellow
The laboratory of Associate Professor Marcus Pezzolesi PhD, MPH in the University of Utah’s Division of Nephrology and Hypertension and Diabetes and Metabolism Center is seeking a highly-motivated post-doctoral research fellow to lead research projects aimed at understanding the basis of diabetes, diabetes-related complications, and chronic kidney disease using unique ‘big data’ resources developed by the Pezzolesi lab and others at the University, including comprehensive electronic medical record data, extensive genealogy data, a state-of-the-art biorepository, and high-throughput next-generation sequencing and other '-omics' technologies.  Applicants should be passionate about research and enjoy solving complex problems.  The successful candidate will lead NIH-funded projects t
