The Traffic Engineer is responsible to plan organize, direct, and supervise traffic engineering and transportation planning operations; and to perform a variety of professional and technical tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS This is the advanced journey level in the Traffic Engineer series.
