JOB SUMMARY
The Project Manager is ultimately responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines needed to complete a project. The positions will focus on client service, project management of transportation, municipal, and private development type projects, and mentoring staff. We have immediate openings for full time Civil Project Managers to be located in either our Sioux Falls, SD, Mitchell, SD or Watertown, SD offices. DURING A TYPICAL DAY
Leads an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
Markets the Company to existing and prospective clients
Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for a project.
Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.
Acts as a liaison between company, clients, and vendors.
QUALIFICATIONS OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
A minimum of 7 years related experience.
Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE)
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Knowledge of DOT and/or typical municipal standards
Self-motivated, organized, able to communicate effectively both written and orally
Able to work in a team environment and have strong interpersonal skills.
