CORE COMPETENCIES & ESSENTIAL DUTIESProvides engineering support including independent analysis, implementation, operation and maintenance of department technical services and related projects including real-time contingency analysis, power system simulator, high volume call answering system, and transmission system outage coordination. Develops and maintains the plans, processes and procedures for producing regulatory documentation in order to ensure full compliance with applicable regulatory standards related to assigned area. Leads medium to large projects with minimal guidance.  Assists with training and serves as subject matter expert to lower- level staff.  Acts as on-call engineer as assigned outside normal working hours.
