Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Control Supervisor (Night shift) supervises, and coordinates activities related to the Quality Assurance Inspection function.
Shift: 6:00 pm to 6:00 am rotating schedule (2 days on, 3 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off)
What a typical day looks like:
Controls quarantine and nonconformance materials throughout the entire factory.
Assists the quality engineering team in performing disposition of NCMRs.
Supervises floor activities to ensure compliance with procedures and policies.
Performs area audits of Quarantined Materials Control locations.
Assists shipping in ensuring all shipped goods are defect free.
Ensures procedures are followed and may develop procedures for the quality assurance inspection operation.
Provides immediate supervision to inspectors, checking work at frequent intervals.
Supports production and all cross-functional teams by performing unplanned inspections and other activities.
Frequently interacts with outside customers, vendors and functional peer groups at various management levels and serves as a liaison between customer and the division regarding quality issues.
Directs daily team activities.
Confers with management and production to determine support quality goals.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
Expert functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
Up to 4 years of experience in the quality area of a medical device industry preferred.
Experience leading and directing projects and quality initiatives.
Strong technical skills and experience.
Ability to utilize charts, tables and specifications, and operate a variety of measuring instruments.
Previous experience at an ISO certified facility.
Experience with Microsoft Office products and intermediate Excel proficiency.
Must be able to prioritize work and have experience cross training teams in different areas.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule due to the nature of the shift.
