Essential Job Functions
Manage sales team members whose primary focus is on OEM customers in North America and development of customer-specific, tailored solutions.
Participate in the development and implementation of strategies for growth of customer-specific, tailored solution opportunities.
Respond, both orally and in writing, to customer inquiries for KELLER products, which includes:
Support customer in development of custom solutions, based on KELLER America and KELLER AG products, to unique OEM customer requirements. Customizations typically include mechanical enclosures, housing, and/or adapters, as well as electrical and pressure/temperature calibration options.
Act as primary point-of-contact for key accounts
Aid customer in selection of KELLER product best suited for their application
Prepare and follow up on quotes and proposals
Provide customer after-sale technical support
Interface with engineering (at KELLER America and KELLER AG) in development of custom solutions to unique requirements. This includes providing engineering specifications and/or preliminary design customization concepts.
Travel for customer/prospect visits, trade shows, and training. Travel primarily within North America and to KELLER AG in Switzerland.
Assist in budget preparation and sales projection forecasting.
Participate in improving the employee knowledge of other sales staff.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
An understanding of the principles of pressure measurement (to be supplemented by on-the-job training) which includes:
An understanding of pressure sensor compensation techniques (analog and digital).
An understanding of pressure sensor electrical interfaces and applications (analog and digital)
An understanding of customer application and assembly issues with respect to pressure measurement accuracy.
An understanding of mechanical design and fabrication principles.
The ability to effectively communicate technical information, in both oral and written form.
Experience with electric/electronic circuits and hardware/software computer interfaces.
Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions regarding sales performance and resource allocation.
The ability to make cost-based and market-driven sales price calculations.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a business, technical, and/or engineering field.
Minimum 5-10 years of technical sales and/or sales management experience, preferably with pressure sensors.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
Experience managing and developing direct reports a plus.
Experience managing external sales channels, including distributors and manufacturer’s representatives, a plus.
