The Robert B. Willumstad School of Business at Adelphi University invites applications for a lecturer position in Data Analytics/Information Technology beginning August 2023.

The Robert B. Willumstad School of Business is accredited by AACSB International.



Responsibilities:

1. The lecturer position requires teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

2. The teaching load for a lecturer is 4 courses (12 credits) a semester.

3. Teaching assignments may occur on the main campus in Garden City or at off-campus sites in Manhattan (New York City), or other locations on Long Island.

4. Courses are offered during the day, evenings, and on weekends. Some graduate courses run on 8-week cycles, with 4 hours of classes weekly.

Education/Experience Requirements:

1. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data analytics, information systems, database management, or related areas at the undergraduate and graduate level.

2. The successful candidate must have a record of strong teaching experience and evidence of experiential learning.

3. Professional experience is desirable.

4. A Master's or higher degree in the relevant areas is required.

5. We are seeking candidates who have a strong commitment to teaching undergraduate and graduate students from diverse cultural backgrounds
