Creare, a leading engineering research and development firm in Hanover, NH, seeks to fill the position of Quality Engineer. The Quality Engineer reports to the QA Director and focuses on direct project execution.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  interpreting project-specific contractual requirements into executable actions that must be undertaken by project team; communicating requirements to entire project team including engineers, manufacturing personnel, purchasing, inspectors, receiving/QC inspectors, contracts, etc.; working directly with project teams to ensure contractual requirements are met; identifying potential improvements to corporate-wide procedures that would improve product quality/efficiency; interacting with customer technical and quality assurance personnel to understand requirements and address issues; interacting with contracts and other corporate departments on project-specific issues; leading customer quality assurance audits.

BS in Engineering with at least 5 or preferably 10 years of relevant experience in an aerospace or electronics manufacturing environment. ASQ certifications such as lead auditor certification are preferred and demonstrate the candidate’s expertise and commitment to Quality Assurance.
