Traffic Operations Engineer
The Traffic Operations Engineer is a professional level position responsible for civil engineering work for public infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: conducting traffic investigations and writing reports, performing and managing traffic operations studies, providing recommendations, and creating work orders for implementing solutions in conformance with the Minnesota Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MnMUTCD).  Employees regularly communicate and collaborate with consultants, designers, contractors, sub-contractors, property owners, utility companies, other departments, divisions and others involved in or affected by projects and are required to make independent decisions in resolving most problems, but informing the superviso
