The Architect or Senior Engineer is highly skilled in the planning, design, and construction of Board facilities, and serves as an advisor to the Board. This incumbent has specific professional expertise and experience in architectural design of major buildings or specific professional expertise and experience in one or more of the major professional building design disciplines, and may be an architectural, civil, electrical, mechanical, or structural engineer. The incumbent performs required analyses and program coordination for facility projects and independently analyzes and develops sound justification for recommended actions on proposed Board facility projects.
