Job Summary The Operations Division supports the operations of the Power Agencies, North Carolina Municipal Power Agency No. 1 (NCMPA1) and North Carolina Eastern Municipal Power Agency (NCEMPA). The Division is responsible for managing wholesale power supply for the two Power Agencies, load management, distributed generation, renewable resources, and manages delivery interconnections with Duke Energy. The purpose of the Senior Power Delivery Engineer is to manage Delivery Point interconnections ensuring standards and contracts are being met, ensure the NCMPA1 & NCEMPA-owned Distributed Generation is compliant with environmental and electrical regulations and the Qualified Resource & Distributed Generation Policies.
